The supreme court has upheld the life sentence , which was awarded by a trail court and confirmed by a high Court , to a father ,who, with his son ,had repeatedly raped his 14 year daughter.
A bench of Justices dismissed the appeal filed by the two accused ,Syed Isaq and his son. They are being awarded only for life imprisonment.
According to the prosecution ,on April 20, 2005, the girl from Nalgonda had lodged a police complaint. Her mother ,working as maid ,used to leave her at her grand mothers place before going to work.The girls father would take her back to the house from her grandmothers house and rape her under threat of life.To her Shock, her grandmother supported the father and ,as a result the rape continued. Thereafter ,her brother too sexually assaulted her. Her mother found her pregnant and lodged a complaint with the police against her husband and son for sexually assaulting the girl for five months
